APPLICATION PROCEDURES

APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR DOCTORAL INTERNSHIP:  November 3, 2023

APPIC MATCH PROGRAM: The program participates in the APPIC computer match program and follows the latest APPIC requirements regarding application procedures. 

Our APPIC Program Code Numbers are:
Child Track 143011
Adult Track 143012
Correctional/Forensic Adult Track 143013
School Track 143014

Interns may apply to any or all tracks. Be sure to indicate in your cover letter and on any other relevant application materials the track(s) in which you are interested.

Please note: If invited, an interview is required to be considered for the program.

NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES: APPIC policy guidelines are followed. The Rutgers-Newark internship site agrees to abide by the APPIC policy that no person at this training facility will solicit, accept or use any ranking-related information from any intern applicant prior to Uniform Notification Day.

SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALS AND INSTRUCTIONS
Students interested in applying for the doctoral internship are required to submit

  1. a sample Psychological or Neuropsychological Evaluation and
  2. a sample Treatment Summary in addition to
  3. the AAPI application, including 3 letters of recommendation

We are participating in the online AAPI process, and are accepting these materials electronically, including the work samples, serving as supplemental materials you can upload with your application.
