UBHC’s COPSA Institute sponsors a wide variety of educational and training activities, conducted in collaboration with UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), Rutgers University, and area hospitals/health care facilities. UBHC serves as the primary clinical training site for the Department of Psychiatry’s American Psychological Association-approved Psychology Internship Program (which incorporates a geropsychology training component). In addition, UBHC sponsors a Postdoctoral Training Program in Geropsychology which provides specialized training in geriatrics and gerontology for PhD and PsyD clinical psychologists.
