The Collaborative Behavioral Health Care Project - Essex County PPC HUB, in partnership with New Jersey Medical School and UBHC Rutgers Health introduces a dynamic collaboration with Essex County Primary Care Providers.

Essex Banner

The Essex PPC HUB team provides primary care providers with an opportunity to consult directly with child psychiatrists regarding psychiatric and/or behavioral issues.  Primary Care Providers can call (973) 972-7889 and speak directly with a child psychiatrist to obtain information.  Essex PPC HUB also provides training and educational programming for medical providers at no fee.  Experts from the HUB team can assist with linkages and referrals to mental health and addiction services in Essex County.

Pediatric Primary Care Providers will be better equipped to identify, provide appropriate treatment and link their patients to mental health care services in partnership with the Essex HUB team. The program is available to children up to the ages of 18 and requires the parents/caregivers consent.
