Coordinated Specialty Care and Community Integration (CSC-CI)
- Between ages 15 to 35
- Within 2 years of onset of psychosis symptoms
- Individuals experiencing symptoms of psychosis which includes: delusions (false beliefs), hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that others do not), suspiciousness, paranoia, disorganized thinking. Common diagnoses are: schizophreniform disorder, psychosis NOS, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depression with psychosis, bipolar disorder with psychosis and other affective mood disorders with psychosis
- We understand that as this is a first episode, sometimes there is no clear diagnosis yet. Contact us to review potential referrals.
NJ Promise
- Between ages 10-25
- Marked changes in functioning over the past year and a family history of psychosis
And/or
- Changes in thoughts, experiences, and/or feelings. These changes may look like: suspiciousness, odd thinking or behavior, increased difficulty at work or school, overly preoccupied with internal fantasy life, withdrawal from loved ones, and changes in emotions.
After the initial referral, NJ Promise candidates will be scheduled for a two-hour semi-structured interview to assess diagnostic criteria and eligibility.
