Desiree Y. Gonzalez, MPA, CCLS is a Training and Consultation Specialist with the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at Rutgers University Behavioral Research and Training Institute (BRTI). She earned her Master of Public Administration from Rutgers University, where she strengthened her skills in leadership, program evaluation, and organizational management—building on over a decade of direct experience in behavioral health and crisis services.
Throughout her career, Desiree has developed expertise in suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention, along with curriculum design, e-learning development, and continuing education program management. She continues to apply these skills by developing evidence-based trainings, managing Joint Accreditation compliance, and collaborating with state and community partners to advance effective crisis response and trauma-informed practices.
