Beau Samonte (he/they) is a postdoctoral fellow in Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (RUBHC). Dr. Samonte attained his Psy.D. in clinical psychology at Marywood University, where he completed a dissertation examining the effects of social support on the relationship of sleep and everyday experiences of discrimination. He completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship at University of Missouri - Kansas City Counseling Center.
Dr. Samonte has clinical experience in university counseling centers and community mental health centers. His areas of interest include LGBTQIA+ populations, sleep disorders, and evidence-based treatments.
