Jin Hee Ang, MSN, APRN, RN-BC, completed her Masters in Nursing from Walden University and is licensed as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Jersey. Prior to joining Rutgers as an RUISTP fellow, Jin Hee worked as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Advanced Endoscopy, in the Gastrointestinal Department at Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ, which specifically treats the patient population in need of an advanced endoscopic procedure for various GI issues. Jin Hee also worked as a registered nurse for 10 years in various departments at Saint Peter’s University Hospital, including medical-surgical unit, clinical research, endoscopy, and preoperative unit. Jin Hee has served as an adjunct professor for undergraduate nursing students at Middlesex County College of Nursing for one year. Her goal for joining RUBHC’s Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (RUISTP) is to provide holistic care to patients, caring for both their physical and mental health in the primary care setting, and to serve patients that have substance use disorders, gaining a deeper understanding of them.
