Kristen Schiavo, M.A. (she/her), is a fifth-year doctoral student in Kean University's School and Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. As a psychology intern on the Integrated Primary Care Track at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, she is completing rotations at New Jersey Medical School and the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program in Newark.
Kristen is especially passionate about supporting children navigating medical conditions and partnering with caregivers to build on family strengths. Her clinical interests include pediatric health psychology and the integration of psychological and medical care. Her research focuses on strengthening the parent-child relationship and expanding access to parenting interventions for caregivers.
