Maggie Boyle, LAC

Behavioral Health Consultant, E-RUISTP, 2024-2025


Maggie Boyle completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey and is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Maggie is a Behavioral Health Consultant Fellow under UBHC’s Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (RUISTP) and is working at the University Hospital Ambulatory Care Center in Newark. Maggie’s previous counseling experience includes work in community mental health including work in outpatient, adult partial care, and youth partial care settings, as well as within the public school system. Maggie’s interest areas include strengths-based techniques, solution-focused brief therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Her goal is to make mental health care accessible for all populations and to work to reduce the stigma associated with mental health.
