Integrated Care Education at Rutgers

RUBHC has led a multi-year initiative to develop introductory curriculum on integrated care for first and second year students in the health sciences professions. This initiative has united eight Rutgers schools in an effort to build a pipeline of trained practitioners in integrated care delivery prior to their graduation.  The curriculum provides foundational integrated care education for these students across programs and helps to build bridges into their final years of clinical training in integrated behavioral health and addiction treatment settings. The eight participating Rutgers schools include:

  • Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy
  • Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology
  • New Jersey Medical School
  • Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
  • Rutgers School of Dental Medicine
  • Rutgers School of Health Professions
  • Rutgers School of Nursing
  • Rutgers School of Social Work
