Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (RUISTP)

RUBHC is committed to expanding behavioral health training in integrated care throughout New Jersey and nationally. The RUISTP is a full-time, one-year, interprofessional fellowship program developed and implemented by RUBHC with federal funding from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

The RUISTP will increase the number of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, and social workers who are trained to provide effective integrated care services, including specific training in the areas of substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment. Additionally, the program will specifically increase the number of waivered buprenorphine prescribers for the treatment of OUD who are also trained in integrated care delivery.
