For over twenty-five years, Anna Marie Toto has organized and led national and state-wide evidence based and best practices implementation projects, many of which have served underserved communities. Much of her core work has been devoted to enhancing the standard of behavioral health treatment, clinically and operationally, by training and consulting on the impact of implementation interventions on clinical outcomes and organizational culture change. She has participated in published research studies, co-authored related project publications and developed user-friendly curriculum materials, and spoken on these projects at national association conferences. Additionally, her direct clinical care experience across treatment programs has provided her the opportunity to observe the impact of behavioral health systemic changes. In her current role as Program Manager for the Rutgers Integrated Care Curriculum Project, she is building bridges of collaboration across eight schools in the health related professions with an initiative charged to develop and implement a unified IC curriculum.
