Elizabeth Wisniewski, LSW

Behavioral Health Consultant, RUISTP, 2022-2023


Elizabeth Wisniewski holds a Masters of Leadership and Public Administration (Centenary University), Masters of Social Work (Boston University) and is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. Elizabeth is a Behavioral Health Consultant Fellow under RUBHC’s Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (RUISTP) and is working out of Metropolitan Family Health Network in Jersey City. Prior to joining Rutgers as a fellow, Elizabeth worked as a Mental Health Counselor for New Jersey’s Department of Children and Families System of Care for School Based Services located in Lakewood High School with Preferred Behavioral Health, a non-profit organization. Elizabeth also worked as a behavioral tech for Family Consultation Services as an in-home therapist. Elizabeth comes from a background in teaching in the New Jersey Public School system, holding certification to teach K-6, History 6-8 and High School History.  Elizabeth’s areas of interest include: Children through young adulthood behavioral health services, Mindfulness, Sand Play, and Jungian Theory modalities, and rehabilitation for all populations.
