K. Jeannine Adams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s in Social Work from New York University. Jeannine’s role as a Behavioral Health Consultant in Women’s Health began in 2019. Jeannine has been with Rutgers University Behavioral Healthcare for 9 years. She previously provided short term crisis stabilization services to clients experiencing acute mental health symptoms on the Early Intervention and Support Services program in Newark. She has additional experience working in the adoption field providing counseling to birth mothers, post placement support and home studies. Jeannine’s interest areas include women’s issues, mental health concerns for women of color, geriatric and high risk populations. Jeannine is excited to be part of the team and looks forward to providing short-term interventions in real time.
