Patricia Palmer, LCSW,

Behavioral Health Consultant, Child Health Institute of New Jersey


Patricia Palmer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Family Science from the University of Maryland in College Park. Patricia then earned her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Children and Families from Rutgers University. Patricia’s role as a Behavioral Health Consultant in Pediatrics began in 2021. Patricia began her career working as a care manager at Families and Communities Together (F.A.C.T), the Care Management Organization of Union County in New Jersey. Patricia also served as a Behaviorist at Community Access Unlimited. In her most recent role, she worked in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (CAPS) program at East Orange General Hospital. Patricia’s interest areas include child and adolescent behavioral health and behavioral health services for adoptive and foster families. Patricia’s goal is to make behavioral health services accessible for children and families of color and other marginalized populations.
