The Center for Integrated Care is founded on RUBHC’s longstanding history and mission of advancing the behavioral health continuum of care services through workforce training, consultation, program implementation, and service delivery. For decades, RUBHC has trained on “complete wellness” paradigms integrating primary care into behavioral health programming nationally and statewide. At RUBHC, whole-person care has remained a core focus in addressing the needs of individuals we serve.
Applying the science and values of integrated care, Center for Integrated Care innovatively provides:
- Integrated care education for Rutgers students
- Integrated care delivery across Rutgers Health
- Integrated care clinical training and implementation services for New Jersey-based primary care settings
The Center for Integrated Care is a proud winner of the 2025 New Jersey Social Innovation Award for Excellence in Population and Public Health, awarded for innovative strategies improving clinical health outcomes, care coordination, and public health policy to create sustainable impact.
The Rutgers Center for Integrated Care is a proud member of the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association. We are excited to share that the CIC will be presenting at the upcoming CFHA conference this October in Raleigh, NC, focused on the integration of behavioral health and medicine. This event is pivotal in advancing our field and transforming healthcare delivery and professional training.
