Lorraine D’Sylva-Lee, PhD (Candidate)

Training & Consultation Specialist


Lorraine D’Sylva-Lee has more than 25 years of experience providing curriculum development, training, technical assistance, and program implementation in areas that encompass special education, family support services, self-directed supports, and Medicaid Home and Community Based Waiver Services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities(IDD) across the lifespan. She serves as a Senior Training & Consultation Specialist on the Promising Path to Success 2.0 Coaching Team that supports NJ Department of Children and Families, Children’s System of Care provider agencies in the use of trauma-informed practices, healing centered engagement, application of social and emotional learning competencies, incorporation of the 6 Core Strategies©, as well as the Nurtured Heart Approach®. Lorraine’s certifications include Essential Lifestyle Planning Trainer, Trauma Competent Professional, and Advanced Trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach®. She also provides Train the Trainer workshops for the National Association of Dually Diagnosed (NADD). As the parent of a daughter with significant challenges, her lived experiences propelled her to open a provider agency for people with IDD, where she serves as the President and CEO of LEE (Learning Enrichment Experiences) Services. Lorraine is a Lead New Jersey fellow and is currently completing a PhD in Health Sciences at Seton Hall University.
