Internship Tracks Overview

The training program at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences in Newark consists of a single program with a shared philosophy across five major tracks, child, general adult, school, integrated primary care and correctional/forensic adult. Each track provides training in core clinical skills as well as opportunities for work with specialized client populations

When applying for the program, applicants should indicate the track(s) for which they wish to be considered. Interns in all tracks will be required to complete the core program described in the section on Program Structure, but the location for the core experiences is different for the five tracks. Significant opportunities are provided for interaction among the group of fourteen interns, and there are a number of shared didactic and training experiences.
