Continuing Education Programs
The Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) program is a collaborative initiative of Rutgers Health, bringing together the continuing education units of the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, New Jersey Medical School, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, School of Nursing, and University Behavioral Health Care. Together, we provide high-quality continuing education designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team. UBHC’s Center for Continuing Education (CCE) is dedicated to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals through high-quality live and online educational programs. Our professional development offerings span the lifespan of the individuals we serve while emphasizing the personal and professional growth, resilience, and self-compassion of healthcare providers.
Committed to delivering exceptional education for students, professionals, individuals receiving services, and the broader community, CCE offers training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and a wide range of other evidence-based practices designed to improve clinical outcomes and strengthen the behavioral healthcare workforce.
Student Opportunities
At Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC), educating the next generation of behavioral health professionals is central to our mission. The Center for Continuing Education supports this commitment by coordinating clinical placements, internships, externships, and volunteer opportunities that provide meaningful hands-on learning experiences for students and emerging professionals.
