Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Services

Compassionate behavioral health care and support for children and adolescents.

Care That Grows With Your Child

Children and adolescents’ behavioral health needs can change as they grow. Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care offers a continuum of services designed to support each child, teen, and family based on their individual needs.

From outpatient and school-based services to more structured and intensive treatment, our programs provide the right level of care as needs change. Our goal is to help children and adolescents build stability, resilience, and well-being while supporting families throughout their care.

Supporting Children, Families & Caregivers

Behavioral health challenges can affect children, families, and caregivers in different ways. Our teams work together with parents, caregivers, schools, and other supports to understand each young person’s needs and develop an individualized approach to care. Together, we build on strengths, improve daily functioning, and help children and adolescents thrive at home, at school, and in their communities.
